What I think me and my partner did a good job on was how we communicated with each other. When we were talking back and forth you could actually tell that we were interested in what the other had to say. And how we incorporated stories to our destination made in sound more convincing that we were actually there. I found that to be somewhat creative. What I wish we could have done that Skyler's group did was have a two way view from where we were at. That had more of an exciting effect that everyone seemed to enjoy. Another thing I like was how in Cole's group they gave a little more information concerning the holiday going a little deeper into it them the reader said. What we did to create our video was that we got information and added a little personal flavor to how we were going to present it. What my partner did to help me was give me funny lines to pitch so that the video would seem more interesting and funnier, and what I did to help he was just smile and be cute. She pretty much had everything taken care of. I like our video how it is even though the sound got tweaked and you can't hear us speak most of the time.

A green screen gives you the ability to take your surroundings and make it appear that you are somewhere else. Important things you need to know when filming with a greenscreen is to make sure that there are no wrinkles on the greenscreen because it makes it difficult to get the same effect. Another VERY important thing to know is to not wear green clothing. This blends you into the backround and makes you seem invisible. Also grey makes you seem transperent. Problems that can arise from using greenscreen is the edges of your clothes may seem blurry when applying the greenscreen effect. If I had to choose between After Effects and Premiere Pro I'd choose After Effects. It may have been a little more confusing to operate but the results were more satisfying.

Overlay and Insert

The difference between an overlay and an insert edit is when you use overlay the first clip in the timeline will keep playing during the second clip. When you insert the clip the first clip will stop and allow the second clip to play the when the second clip ends the first clip will start right where you left off at. You would use an overlay when you're making interviews and videos such as that.

i put in notebook.
I think I am getting better at editing with this software.  I did a good job of staying focused and completing my work correctly.  I'm happy with the way I put together this video because it turned out well.  I should have tried to put a little morte effort into it but I'm satisfied.  If i could do this project over, i would put more clips in and have more editing involved.  On my next project, i need to remember to try and make it the best i can.  On my next project, i would like to learn how to add sounds.  One way I helped my partner was to pick out the videos. My partner helped me by choosing a good title. On this project I gained a better idea about how to edit a group of videos, What helped me figure this out was to ask my fellow classmates. We overcame the challenge of a small font on the title by making it bigger.

Patience

The message in this video is to be patient.  The actions to show this are when the construction worker saw the boy walking on the fresh new cement but instead of flipping out he just simply ignored it and paved over it.  A way the filmmaker sort of communicated this message was by the certain angles on the worker as he reacted to what the kid was doing.

Our Groups Discussion about Values.com

Our group likes The Purse video the best. It was funny and entertaining. The thing I personally liked the most was when the cop gave the kid a donut for doing a good deed.
